Currently reading: "The Lost City of the Monkey God" by Douglas Preston

The City of the Monkey God, or White City (Ciudad Blanca), is a vanished culture nested in the dense jungles of Honduras. Preston writes about its investigating expedition that used lidar to identify archaeological features! It is a good read so far and has inspired me to make this crossword. I highly recommend the book, but in the meantime, you can also read a NatGeo article about the expedition HERE.
